The present invention relates to a composition for skin whitening comprising a mixed extract of Phellodendri Cortex, Anemarrhena asphodeloides and Alismatis Rhizoma as an active ingredient. By using the composition of the present invention, an Orai-1 ion pathway, which plays an important role in skin darkening due to skin melanin cell melanin formation during sunlight irradiation, can be suppressed and tyrosinase activity can be inhibited. Therefore, the production of melanin due to cytokine (ET-1) or ultraviolet rays can be effectively suppressed, thereby being usefully used for skin whitening.본 발명은 황백, 지모 및 택사 혼합 추출물을 유효성분으로 하는 피부 미백용 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 조성물을 이용하면, 일광(日光) 조사 시 피부 멜라닌 세포 멜라닌 형성으로 인한 피부흑화 시 중요한 역할을 담당하는 Orai-1 이온통로를 억제할 뿐만 아니라 티로시나제 활성을 저해할수 있는 효과를 가진다. 따라서, cytokine (ET-1) 또는 자외선에 의한 멜라닌 생성을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있는바, 피부 미백을 위한 용도로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
