A headband assembly and a mask system. The headband assembly is a planar structure in an unfolded state. The headband assembly comprises a head-mounted part (1) for being adhered and worn on a head and connection parts (2) connected to both sides of the head-mounted part (1) and used for connecting to a breathing mask. The head-mounted part (1) comprises an upper headband (11), having a preset width, for being adhered to the top of the head and a rear headband (12) for being adhered to the rear side of the head and located below the upper headband (11), wherein the upper headband (11) is an arc-shaped structure having a recess facing the rear headband (12). According to the headband assembly and the mask system, the headband assembly is manufactured using a material having a planar structure, such that a simple manufacturing process and easy shaping are implemented and the costs are reduced.
