The present statement relates to a device for diagnosing lung cancer using a pulse wave which enables to improve the accuracy and the reliability of a result of a lung cancer diagnosis, and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present statement, the device for diagnosing lung cancer using a pulse wave includes: at least one receiving unit for receiving a pulse wave generated from a transmitting module； a first detecting unit for detecting time lag information of the received pulse wave； a second detecting unit for detecting information on an amplitude and a phase of a frequency area signal corresponding to the received pulse wave； and a control unit for diagnosing lung cancer based on the time lag information, and the information on the amplitude and the phase.본 명세서는 폐암 진단 결과의 정확도 및 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는 펄스파를 이용한 폐암 진단 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 명세서의 실시예에 따른 펄스파를 이용한 폐암 진단 장치는, 송신 모듈에서 발생된 펄스파를 수신하는 적어도 하나의 수신부； 상기 수신된 펄스파의 시간 지연 정보를 검출하는 제1 검출부와； 상기 수신된 펄스파에 대응하는 주파수 영역 신호의 진폭 및 위상 정보를 검출하는 제2 검출부와； 상기 시간 지연 정보, 진폭 및 위상 정보에 근거하여 폐암을 진단하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
