PURPOSE: A medical image display device and method are provided to help medical diagnosis by displaying the portions of biological tissue having the same elasticity in the same display form on first and second images.CONSTITUTION: A medical image display device(1) displays medical images of biological tissue. A physical quantity calculator(5) calculates a first physical quantity related to the elasticity of the biological tissue. A display image control unit displays a first elasticity image having a display form corresponding to the first physical property and displays, as a medical image, a second elasticity image having a display form corresponding to a second physical quantity related to the elasticity of elasticity of the biological tissue.
