PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate the contents from a container, and separate the contents of a container which can not be deformed and the contents which is broken if they are twisted from the container while remarkably lowering manufacturing cost by employing an extremely simple structure.SOLUTION: A separator includes: a plurality of sets of separation transfer parts 3 which pinch a container 1 with the contents therein in a separation gap 2 for transfer and a driving mechanism 4 for driving each of the separation transfer parts 3, and transfers the container 1 to a plurality of the sets of the separation transfer parts 3. The separation transfer part 3 includes a pair of rotary shafts 5 disposed on both the surfaces of the separation gap 2 for transferring the container 1, and rotates the pair of the rotary shafts 5 in an opposite direction to each other thereby transferring the container 1 in the separation gap 2. The pairs of the rotary shafts 5, which constitute the separation transfer parts 3 arranged adjacently, are configured so that both the ends thereof are eccentrically disposed in an opposite direction to each other with respect to the rotation central axis m.
