PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-control button apparatus of an electronic endoscope surely retaining water-tightness of an endoscope and having no possibility of breakage due to swelling of a button cover in a depressurization process such as autoclave sterilization and the like.
SOLUTION: The outer circumferential face of a piston body 15 is mounted with an O ring 18 for sealing a fitting face between itself and the internal circumferential face of a cylinder body 11 where the piston body 15 is retractably/progressively inserted in the axial direction, and the button cover 20 surrounding the periphery of the operation button 19 connected to the outer end of the piston body 15 is formed with a vent hole 22 for ventilating between inner/outer spaces.
