PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental handpiece capable of obtaining high bar gripping force easily without requiring a special tool for attachment and detachment of a bar.SOLUTION: A dental handpiece comprises a rotary cylinder lock mechanism and a chuck rotation mechanism. In the rotary cylinder lock mechanism, when a lid body 70 is pressed downward against energizing force of a spring member 80, an engaging projection 61 of a rotation stopper member 60 engages with an engaging hole 51 of a middle lid body 50 fixed to a head case 10, an engaging projection 62 engages with an engaging groove 33 of a rotary cylinder 30, and whereby rotation of the rotary cylinder 30 is prevented. In the chuck rotation mechanism, because a projection 71 provided in the lid body 70 engages with a square hole 43 provided in a chuck cylinder 40, the chuck cylinder 40 can be rotated with respect to the rotary cylinder 30 by rotating the lid body 70. Accordingly, the chuck cylinder 40 can advance and retreat in an axial direction to grip or release a bar.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】バーの着脱に特別な工具を必要とせず、簡単に高いバー把持力が得られる歯科用ハンドピースを提供する。【解決手段】 歯科用ハンドピースは、回転筒ロック機構とチャック回転機構を有している。回転ロック機構として、蓋体70をバネ部材80の付勢力に抗して下方に押すと、回転ストッパ部材60の係合突起61がヘッドケース10に固定された中蓋体50の係合穴51に係合し、係合突起62が回転筒30の係合溝33に係合するため、回転筒30の回転が防止される。また、チャック回転機構として、蓋体70に設けた突起71がチャック筒40に設けた角穴43に係合するため、蓋体70を回転させることによって、チャック筒40を回転筒30に対して回転させることができる。これにより、チャック筒40を軸方向に進退でき、バーを把持または解放することが可能となる。【選択図】図2
