The invention relates to a fixed dental prosthesis comprising at least one artificial tooth (15) and a means for rigidly connecting the latter to at least two natural abutment teeth (1 and 2) in the mouth, the specific features of which are that said means includes a framework comprising at least one metal part (7) provided with circular perforations, wherein said piece forms a perforated guide, as well as metal rods with round cross-section (A, B, C, D, E, F), the diameter of which is selected so as to slidingly engage with said perforations of the perforated guide. Among said rods, certain ones referred to as anchoring rods (A and B) extend outside the pontic and, by means of the position and size thereof, firstly engage with the top perforations of the perforated guide. The various aforementioned elements form a periodontal splint and are arranged relative to each other such that the relative position of the artificial tooth or teeth with regard to the splint to which the former is/are attached is selected such that the rods engaging with the top perforations can occupy an intratooth position in the abutment teeth.
