PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial limb including a holder for holding a spherical body in a spherical surface pair, capable of holding a joint in a stop state normally without rotating and bending the joint with no special operation such as nut fastening and rotating the joint only when force moment is exerted in a proper amount to rotate the spherical body and holding the stop state by stopping exertion of the force.SOLUTION: Many recesses 107 are formed on a surface 105 of a spherical body 101. A holder 201 includes one or plural balls 303 at tips of ball plungers 301 of a bolt type so as to be fitted into the recesses 107 by spring force of a spring member. The ball 303 of the ball plunger 301 is normally fitted into the recess 107 by the spring force and stops rotation of the spherical body 101. When force moment to rotate the spherical body 101 is exerted in a proper amount, the ball 303 is pressed out from the recess 107 to rotate the spherical body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】球面対偶で保持する保持体を含んでなる義肢用関節で、ナット締め等の格別の操作をすることなく、関節を、常時は、回転、屈曲することなく停止状態に保持させ得る一方、球体が回転するように力のモーメントを適宜の大きさで作用させたときのみ、回転等させ得るが、その力の付与の停止で、その停止状態が保持されるようにする。【解決手段】球体101の表面105に多数の凹部107を設けた。保持体201には、ボルトタイプのボールプランジャ301の先端のボール303を、バネ部材のバネ力によって凹部107に嵌り込み可能にして、1又は複数設けておく。ボールプランジャ301のボール303が、常時は、バネ力によって凹部107へ嵌り込み、球体101の回転を停止させる。球体101を回転させようとする力のモーメントが適度の大きさで作用した時に、該ボール303が凹部107から押し出されて回転が行われるようにした。【選択図】 図2
