PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food product washing mechanism which can wash food products to an improved degree compared with a prior art.SOLUTION: A food product washing mechanism comprises a food product washing tank 1 for washing a food product with washing water containing available chlorine, a horizontal cross section of the food product washing tank 1 being formed of a curve region 2 and an approximately linear line part 3. Since the horizontal cross section of the food product washing tank is formed of the curve region and the approximately linear line part, a random vortex occurs when water flow which has been rotating along the curve region collides with the approximately linear line part. Thus, randomness in the food product washing tank is increased to facilitate mixing because of the random vortex, so that an encounter ratio of the food product and the available chlorine contained in electrolytic water is enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来よりも食物の洗浄度合いが向上した食物の洗浄機構を提供しようとするもの。【解決手段】有効塩素を含む洗浄水で食物を洗浄する食物洗浄槽1を有し、前記食物洗浄槽1の水平断面は曲線域2と略直線部3で形成されたことを特徴とする。食物洗浄槽の水平断面は曲面域と略直線部で形成されたので、曲線域に沿って回転してきた水流が略直線部に衝突した際に乱渦流が発生することとなり、前記乱渦流により食物洗浄槽内の乱雑さが増大して混ざり易いものとなっていて、食物と電解水中の有効塩素の遭遇率が向上している。【選択図】図1
