PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer capable of closely attaching an air bag to the entire periphery of an upper arm just by inserting the upper arm and easily and accurately measuring a blood pressure.SOLUTION: The electronic sphygmomanometer is provided with a cuff part for executing the ischemia of a measuring part, which is separate from a device body, and a blood pressure is measured by inserting the cuff part to the measuring part. The cuff part includes a backing material 15 forming an elastic belt body in a spiral shape and the air bag 14 disposed on the entire periphery on the inner side of the backing material. A wire 12 is wound around the outer periphery of the backing material in order to closely attach the air bag to the upper arm, one end of the wire is fixed to the outer side end part of the backing material and the other end of the wire is connected to an automatic winding part.
