Containers having air pruning holes are have dimensions configured for germination and/or growth of citrus plants, including citrus root- stock, as well as other plants. One such container may have a width of about 2,54 to 3,18 cm and a depth of about 12,7 to 17,8 cm. Another such container may have a width of about 10,2 to 15,2 cm and a depth of about 30,5 to 35,6 cm.
