PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating motion work machine with which an intermediate plate does not need to be fixed to a housing and positions of the intermediate plate and an eccentric cam can be aligned easily when detaching the eccentric cam.SOLUTION: The reciprocating motion work machine includes an intermediate plate 46 that is disposed between a lower blade and an upper blade 12 and between a lower eccentric cam and an upper eccentric cam 38, and the intermediate plate includes a passing hole 46a through which the upper eccentric cam can pass.
