PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger-integrated artificial lung which reduces pressure drop of blood.
SOLUTION: The heat exchanger-integrated artificial lung includes a heat exchanger, a cylindrical core 40, a bundle 30, and a blood outlet port. The heat exchanger is fitted and inserted in the cylindrical core 40. The cylindrical core 40 includes a diffusion part 48. The diffusion part 48 faces the other end side of the heat exchanger. The diffusion part 48 changes the flow of blood flowing out from the other end side of the heat exchanger to a direction in which the blood flows on the outside of the radial direction of a tube. The bundle 30 is made of hollow fiber membranes and encloses an outer surface 41 of the cylindrical core 40. On the bundle 30, the blood which has flowed out from an exit part 47 of the diffusion part 48 flows. The blood outlet port communicates the bundle 30 and discharges the blood that has flowed on the bundle 30. Round chamfering is performed over the entire periphery of an outer surface 41 on the side of the other end 40b of the cylindrical core 40.
