Disclosed is a water tank system. According to the water tank system of embodiments of the present invention, an overflow part is installed on one side of a water tank and pipes are provided in the overflow part to view the inside of the water tank even from a rear surface of the water tank, thereby improving the appearance of the water tank. In addition, water of aquarium of a lower portion of the water tank is introduced into the overflow part through a lower water outlet formed in the overflow part by a siphon scheme, thereby actively generating circulation and filtering. Also, the water tank system has a pair of water inlet members to introduce purified water of the aquarium into the water tank again, and forms waves in a vertical direction with respect to a water surface by applying pulses during introduction of the water of the aquarium, thereby providing a growth environment of living bodies as an environment close to a natural ecosystem.
