The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a human neural crest-derived nasal stem cells as an active ingredient and a method for screening the same, wherein the human neural crest-derived nasal stem cells according to the present invention are amyloid-β peptides in the brain of a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. In addition to reducing the expression of (Aβ), inflammatory microglial cells, BDNF pro-domain, and p75NTR, it has the effect of increasing the expression of β amyloid-degradation enzyme NEP and the expression of autophagy signals proteins LC3B, RAB7, etc. In addition, the neurons were protected and some of them were differentiated into neurons. Therefore, human neural stem cells derived from the neural stem cells according to the present invention are expected to be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of dementia.본 발명은 사람 신경능 유래 코 줄기세포를 유효성분으로 포함하는 약학적 조성물 및 이의 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 사람 신경능 유래 코 줄기세포는 알츠하이머병 마우스 모델의 뇌에서 amyloid-β peptide (Aβ), 염증성 미세아교세포, BDNF pro-domain, 및 p75NTR의 발현을 감소시키고, β amyloid-degradation 효소인 NEP의 발현 및 autophagy signals 단백질인 LC3B, RAB7 등의 발현을 증가시키는 효과를 가질 뿐만 아니라, 신경세포를 보호하고 일부는 신경세포로 분화하는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 사람 신경능 유래 코 줄기세포는 치매의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물 등으로 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
