An intraocular lens includes a deformable optic, a rigid optic, and a supportstructure. The deformable optic is disposed about an optical axis and comprisesa solid material and a deformable surface. The rigid optic is disposed about theoptical axis and comprises a solid material and a rigid surface. The support structureis operably coupled to at least one of the optics for pressing the deformable surfaceand the rigid surface together in response to or in the absences of an ocular force,whereby at least a portion of the deformable surface changes shape such that theoptical power of the at least a portion of the deformable surface and/or the intraocularlens changes by at least 2 Diopter.
