The present invention relates to a macrolide compound expected to suppress cell growth and a novel anticancer agent using the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a compound represented by the following formula (I) or (II), or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, a cell growth inhibitor containing this as an active ingredient, and an anticancer agent.本発明は、細胞増殖抑制が期待されるマクロライド化合物と、これを利用した新規な抗がん剤に関する。具体的には、下記式（I）あるいは（II）で示される化合物、又はその薬理学上許容される塩、及びこれを有効成分とする細胞増殖抑制剤、ならびに抗がん剤に関する。
