PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triangular suture needle reducing puncture resistance and a press forming die suited for its manufacture.SOLUTION: This triangular suture needle is provided with a triangular column part 100a having an angular needle tip side, a round triangular column part 100b linking with the needle root side of the angular column part, and a thread fitting part 100c in its extended needle root end, and the whole body of the angular triangular part 100a is ground to form a tapered blade part 100d with an acute tip.
