PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter capable of preventing excessive inflation and also capable of thinning down.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes: a tubing material 10 having a hollow 11 a cylindrical elastic part 20 that is configured to extend from a distal end of the tubing material 10 to a destination, is opened at the distal end and has a hollow 21 to be connected to the hollow 11 of the tubing material 10 at the proximal end and a tension material 30 that is connected to the interior of the distal end of the elastic part 20 and guided from the interior of the distal end of the elastic part 20 to the proximal end of the tubing material 10.
