PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper having a stretch panel with excellent appearance and to provide a method of manufacturing the disposable diaper.SOLUTION: A stretch panel 6 is configured to include a panel material 61 and a plurality of elastic members 62 fixed to the panel material 61 and extended in a width direction Y of the stretch panel body. Between an inside edge part 6C and an outside edge part 6A along a longitudinal direction X of the body of the stretch panel 6, a stretch part 6B with stretchability in the width direction Y of the body is present. The stretch part 6B is formed by fixing the plurality of elastic members 62 crossing the stretch part 6B in the body width direction Y to the panel material 61 in a stretched state by a first adhesion part 67 provided on the panel material 61. The one end part 62p of the elastic member 62 lies on the outside edge part 6A. The one end part 62p is fixed to the panel material 61 by a second adhesion part 68 provided on the panel material 61 constituting the outside edge part 6A and is in a straight line form extending in the body width direction in planar view.
