PURPOSE: A vegetation retaining wall and a construction method thereof using a vegetation space formed of consecutively installed concrete piles are provided to construct a retaining wall using concrete piles on a cut embankment surface and allow vegetation on the front and upper sides of the retaining wall. CONSTITUTION: A vegetation retaining wall comprises concrete piles(20) which are installed consecutively, vegetation spaces which are formed on both sides of the concrete piles and have ecological grooves facing each other, vegetation frames which are inserted in the vegetation spaces, vegetation grooves(17) which are formed by the adjacent concrete piles, a vegetation part(15) which is installed in a cap concrete(14), rubbles which are placed on the top of retained soil(11) of the concrete piles, and gap finishing materials which are installed in the vegetation grooves under the rubbles.본 발명은 옹벽을 설치하기 위하여 지반에 다수 개 연이어서 설치된 콘크리트 파일의 양측면에 형성된 생태홈에 의하여 설치된 식생공간부에 식생틀을 삽입하고, 상기 콘크리트파일의 전면에 설치된 식생용홈에 상기 식생틀에 의하여 발아된 식생이 활착되도록 하면서 동시에 콘크리트파일의 상부에도 식생이 되도록 한 식생옹벽의 시공방법에 관한 것이다.
