The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for sterilizing eggs. The apparatus includes a washing unit for washing the surface of eggs conveyed by a transfer conveyor, a sterilization unit for spraying acidic water and ozonated water to eggs to sterilize the eggs, and a drying unit for drying the washed eggs.
