<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start seeding from each pot at the front end in the transfer direction according to simple control, to surely stop a seeding roll after seeding the pot at the rear end in the transfer direction, and to prevent the seeding from becoming useless. ??<P>SOLUTION: A seeder for seedling raising includes a first detecting switch and second detecting switch for detecting pots in positions mutually shifted at about 1 pitch in the transfer direction of a nursery box. The first detecting switch and second detecting switch are composed so as to become ready for continuous detection within the range of each pot at the front end in the transfer direction of the nursery box to the pot at the rear end in the transfer direction. A delivering roll is rotated and driven around the shaft center to start the seeding after the passage of a prescribed time from the time when both the first detecting switch and second detecting switch become ready for the detection. The rotation and driving of the delivering roll around the shaft center are stopped to complete the seeding after the passage of a prescribed time from the time when either of the first detecting switch and second detecting switch does not detect the pot. ??<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT ??
