PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector which detects radiation with a high dose and concurrently collects energy information, accurately acquiring the energy information.SOLUTION: A plurality of detection elements 11,..., 13 which generate electric charges due to energy imparted by incident radiation are arranged on an incident line of radiation at positions with a different distance to each other from the incident end. Absorbers 14 are placed at one or more points between the detection elements in the row of the detection elements. All the detection elements have the same structure using the same detection medium. Three to six detection elements are arranged in a row.
