PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is excellent in foaming, detergency, and finish, and can suppress skin dryness, and to provide a method for inhibiting skin irritation using the same.SOLUTION: A detergent composition contains (A) cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid bis-(ethoxy diethylene glycol), (B) at least one kind selected from polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol with a degree of polymerization of two or more, and (C) at least one kind selected from an anionic surfactant and an ampholytic surfactant. The component (C) may also contain an anionic surfactant (C1) and an ampholytic surfactant (C2).【課題】泡立ち、洗浄力、仕上がりに優れ、肌の乾燥を抑制できる洗浄剤組成物及びそれを用いた皮膚刺激抑制方法を提供すること。【解決手段】洗浄剤組成物は、（Ａ）シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸ビスエトキシジグリコールと、（Ｂ）ポリエチレングリコール及び重合度が２以上であるプロピレングリコールから選ばれる少なくとも１種と、（Ｃ）アニオン性界面活性剤及び両性界面活性剤から選ばれる少なくとも１種とを含有する。（Ｃ）成分は、（Ｃ１）アニオン性界面活性剤及び（Ｃ２）両性界面活性剤を含んでもよい。【選択図】なし
