The aquaponics facility (1) has closed water circuit, which comprises an aquaculture unit (2) and a hydroponic unit (5). The aquaculture unit has a water discharge (3), which is functionally connected with the hydroponic unit by a one-way valve (4), such that water is fed to hydroponic unit from the aquaculture unit. The hydroponic unit has a cold trap (6), which is functionally connected with the aquaculture unit, such that the reclaimed water of the cold trap is fed to the aquaculture unit.
