A delayed-release pharmaceutical composition, comprising: an effervescent tablet, granule, or powder containing a first effervescing organic acid component and a first effervescing base component, wherein said tablet, granule, or powder is completely solubilized in drinking water at 25℃ within 2 minutes without stirring and an effective amount of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) coated with a delayed-release effervescent floating delivery system containing a second effervescing base component, which system is buoyant in gastric fluid and thus increases gastric retention time (GRT) in a patient.本發明提供一種延緩釋放醫藥組成物,其包含:含有第一發泡有機酸組分及第一發泡鹼組分之發泡錠劑、顆粒或粉末,其中該錠劑、顆粒或粉末在不攪拌的情況下在25℃下2分鐘內完全溶解於飲用水中;及有效量之包覆有含有第二發泡鹼組分之延緩釋放發泡漂浮遞送系統之活性藥物成份(API),該系統於胃液中可浮起且因此增加於病患中之胃滯留時間(GRT)。
