The invention relates to a marker for power line cables or similar, which comprises a central body (1) provided with multiple flexible lateral parts (12, 15) that form a visually observable pattern, said body having an inner longitudinal cavity (11) that is open at the bottom and suitable for inserting a corresponding cable (3) to which the body is attached by means of a pre-formed coil spring (2) having a slightly smaller diameter than that of the cable (3) and which surrounds and/or couples to the central body (1) of the marker, the spring being attached to the cable (3) by means of the coiling and elastic deformation of the coils thereof.
