Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung von zumindest einem speziellen Triazin oder Melamin und/oder dessen Salz als Beschleuniger für eine photoinduzierte Reaktion von 3-(4-tert-Butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-on, 1-(4-tert-Butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-on oder einer Mischung dieser Verbindungen zu Avobenzon. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung eine Zubereitung, enthaltend zumindest ein spezielles Triazin oder Melamin und ein Verfahren zur Stabilisierung der UV-Absorptionsfähigkeit einer Zubereitung mittels einer Mischung aus zumindest einem speziellen Triazin oder Melamin zusammen mit 3-(4-tert-Butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-on, 1-(4-tert-Butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-on oder einer Mischung dieser Verbindungen, besonders bevorzugt zusammen mit 3-(4-tert-Butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-propan-1-on.The invention relates to the use of at least one specific triazine or melamine and/or the salt thereof as an accelerator for a photo-induced reaction of 3-(4-tert-butyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one or a mixture of these compounds to form avobenzone.
