A medical control system (100) comprises: a controller (40) and a controller (60) which respectively control different peripheral apparatuses a console panel (20) which receives an operation to the controller (40) and the controller (60) and a switching device (30) which selectively switches a connection state between a first state wherein the console panel (20) and the controller (40) are connected and a second state wherein the console panel (20) and the controller (60) are connected. The switching device (30) is configured to notify the controller (40) of the connection state.
