A device to aid the removal of kinks, twists and folds in tape comprises a handle1, a body 2, a tape clamp 3, tape guides 4 and tension adjustment screws 5. The clamp is loosened, and the tape placed between the guides on top of the body and under the clamp. The clamp is then tightened using the tension adjustment screws until the tape may be pulled through with a little resistance. The device may be hand held or may be attached to a reel of tape such as polytape used for electric fencing.
