PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cinerary urn that is prevented from dropping out of hand even while being suitable for hand memorial services.SOLUTION: A cinerary urn 1 includes: an urn-shaped main body 2 having a body side abutment surface 22 for forming an opening 21； and a sealing part 3 having a first surface 3a having a seal side abutment surface 31 being brought into abutment with the body side abutment surface 22 in order to seal the opening 21, and a second surface 3b substantially opposed to the first surface 3a and having a substantially spherical surface.
