PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication apparatus capable of comparing biological information as authentication object of biometric authentication and registered biological information in a short time.SOLUTION: An image reading part 111 reads an image of a pattern of an organism. A feature point extraction part 112 extracts a plurality of feature points from the pattern. A feature value calculation part 113 calculates a feature value in a combination for each combination of feature points. A classification part 114 classifies the combination based on the feature values.
