The present invention provides an external force detecting system and a method for driving the external force detecting system. According to some embodiments of the present invention, the external force detecting system comprises: a body portion including a plurality of identical air pockets which are arranged side by side and are expandable or shrinkable； a plurality of ventilation paths formed with the same number as the air pockets and having one end individually connected to each of the air pockets； and a driving portion distinguished from the body portion to be configured separately, and connected to the other end of each of the ventilation paths.
