A medicament delivery device includes a holding unit, a driving unit releasably held by the holding unit, an activation unit used to release the driving unit from the holding unit, and an injection unit to be moved by the driving unit. The injection unit includes a hub held by the driving unit, a cannula fixed to the hub and a container slidably connected to the hub. After the driving unit is released, the proximal end of the cannula protrudes out of the activation unit before the distal end of the cannula fluidly communicates with the container. The medicament delivery device is combined with an electronic device in an assembly.
