The nutritional powder pod includes a pod containing a nutritional powder. The nutritional powder includes a carbohydrate and may include a protein, a fat, or both a protein and a fat. At least about 5 wt % of the carbohydrate in the nutritional powder is dry blended into the final nutritional powder.
