PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily attaching an eye to a jig body obtained by cutting and shaving a metal plate to enable metal jigs having various shapes to be obtained easily.SOLUTION: The method for attaching the eye to the metal jig includes an eye-attaching groove-forming step for forming a pair of eye-attaching grooves 2 and 3 having widths nearly equal to the diameter of a wire used for the eye 4, at both sides of the metallic jig body 1 so as to face to each other so that the distance between the deepest parts of the groove bottoms of both the eye-attaching grooves 2 and 3 may be shorter than the distance between the shallowest parts at the side of forming a ring of the eye, an eye member-forming step for obtaining the eye 4 member by bending a resilient wire into a nearly &Omega shape so as to be constricted narrower than the distance between the deepest parts of the eye-attaching grooves 2 and 3 of the jig body 1, an eye-hooking step for hooking the constricted parts 4b and 4c of the eye 4 member by immersing the constricted parts 4b and 4c into both of the facing eye-attaching grooves 2 and 3 formed in the jig body 1, and an eye-welding step for fixing the eye 4 member to the jig body 1 by welding the hooking parts of the eye 4 member to the eye-attaching grooves 2 and 3 of the jig body 1.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】金属板からの切断及び切削によって得られたジグ本体へアイが容易に取付けできる方法を提供し、多様な形状のメタルジグが容易に得られるようにする。【解決手段】アイ1に用いる針金の径と略等しい幅のアイ取付溝2、3を、金属製のジグ本体1の両側に対向させて、該両アイ取付溝2、3の溝底の最深部間の距離がアイの輪を形成する側の最浅部間の距離よりも小さくなるように一対形成するアイ取付溝形成工程と、弾性を備えた針金を、前記ジグ本体1のアイ取付溝2、3の最深部間の距離よりも狭く括れるように略Ω字型に湾曲させてアイ4部材を得るアイ部材形成工程と、ジグ本体1に形成した前記アイ取付溝2、3に前記アイ4部材の括れ部4b、4cを対向した両溝内に没入させて係止するアイ係止工程と、ジグ本体1のアイ取付溝2、3へのアイ4部材の係止部分に溶接を施してジグ本体1にアイ4部材を固着するアイ溶接工程と、から成る。【選択図】 図7
