PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave detecting device capable of highly accurately detecting pressure pulse waves with a flexible sensor being pressed against a body surface, and also to provide a biological information measuring device, a pulse wave detecting device control method, and a pulse wave detecting device control program.SOLUTION: A biological information measuring device 100 comprises: a flexible strain sensor 4 including a plurality of strain detection elements 41 arranged on a substrate； an air bag 3 with the strain sensor fixed thereto； and a control unit which determines timing when a detection surface 42 of the strain sensor stops deforming based on a strain detection signal detected by each of the plurality of strain detection elements in a pressure rise process for increasing an internal pressure of the air bag, and sets, as a reference level, the strain detection signal detected by each of the strain detection elements at the timing.
