PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that enables a user to securely grasp the curving direction of a curved portion in use.SOLUTION: The guide wire 1 comprises: a wire body 2 composed of a flexible, long body that has at its leading end a curved portion 21, which is naturally curved in one direction without external force exerted thereto and an imaging marker 3 set at or near the curved portion 21 of the wire body 2 and having a high imaging part 34 and a low imaging part 33 of different imaging properties.
