PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a gantry to be used when capturing tomographic images of mamma.SOLUTION: A radiation detection part 12a, when being developed into a plane, has such a shape that one side is outward curved into a curve with respect to a rectangle. The radiation detection part 12a is curved into a curved surface such that, when being viewed from a direction along a rotation axis 402 of a gantry 30, a central part of the side of the curve is away from a radiation generation part 10a with respect to end parts. The radiation detection part 12a is inclined at an inclination angle α with respect to a direction parallel to the rotation axis 402 of the gantry 30 such that the side of the curve is located at a front cover 26 side (a subject P side) and the side of the curve is away from the radiation detection part 12a with respect to an opposite-side side of the side of the curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 乳房の断層画像を撮影する際に用いるガントリを小型化する。【解決手段】 放射線検出部12aは、平面に展開した場合、長方形に対し、一辺を外側に向けて湾曲するような曲線とした形状を有する。ガントリ30の回転軸402に沿う方向から見た場合に、この曲線の辺の中央部が端部よりも放射線発生部10aから離れるように放射線検出部12aを湾曲させて曲面とする。そして、この曲線の辺がフロントカバー26側(被検者P側)に位置し、且つ、この曲線の辺が、この曲線の辺の反対側の辺よりも放射線検出部12aから離れるように、ガントリ30の回転軸402に平行な方向に対し傾斜角αで放射線検出部12aを傾斜させる。【選択図】 図8
