The present invention addresses the problem of providing a harmful flying insect attractant which has a higher attracting effect than those of the conventional attractants and can exert the attracting effect against various harmful flying insects. The problem can be solved by a harmful flying insect attractant characterized by comprising: (A) an aliphatic alcohol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms inclusive and/or (E) an aliphatic acid ester having 3 to 8 carbon atoms inclusive； and (H) a specific carboxylic acid that is a keto acid or a hydroxy acid each having 3 to 5 carbon atoms inclusive or acetic acid.
