PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the position of a coil unit having no mechanism for detecting the position such as a marker or the position of each of a plurality of element coils included in the coil unit.
SOLUTION: As an RF coil unit 6b, an array coil is used, in which a plurality of element coils respectively receiving magnetic resonance signals from a subject 200 are arrayed. A re-configuration part 13 calculates the projection data on the respective element coils concerning the array directions of the plurality of element coils based on the plurality of magnetic resonance signals received by each of the plurality of element coils. A main control part 17 determines the respective positions of the plurality of element coils and the position of the RF coil unit 6b based on the respective projection data of the plurality of element coils.
