PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a vaporizer which supply low temperature steam with sufficient humidity without blowing out heated humid air from a treatment container and supplying the air to existing high temperature steam.SOLUTION: The vaporizer comprises a storage container 2 for treatment liquid, a pump 4 for transporting the treatment liquid, a vaporizing apparatus 5 for vaporizing the treatment liquid, a steam pipe 7 connected to the vaporizing apparatus 5, an apparatus for supplying coolant gas flow for cooling steam flow via a coolant gas pipe 12, and a treatment container 9 into which a part of the body is inserted, or which comes into contact with a part of the body. A mixing and dispersing space 8 is provided within the treatment container 9 where the steam pipe and the coolant gas pipe converge. A blower 11 is connected to the treatment container for transporting the gas flowing within the coolant gas pipe. An abutting element 13 is supported on the wall surface and/or the bottom surface of the mixing and dispersing space via a web 14. The abutting surface of the abutting element is oriented so as to converge the plurality of pipes 7 and 12.
