PURPOSE: A mobile information providing apparatus is provided to output the threshold of vibration intensity to assist the movement of the blind. CONSTITUTION: A mobile information providing apparatus comprises a position information receiver(110), a controller(120), a vibration generator(130), and a power supply unit(140). The position information receiver comprises a GPS receiver and a sensor detection module which forms ubiquitous sensor network and receives the information of various sensors. The controller extracts motion information according to the real position information. In the vibration generator, a plurality of vibration modules is arranged at a constant interval. The power supply unit comprises a charger and dry cell. [Reference numerals] (110) Position information receiver； (120) Controller； (140) Power supply unit； (150) Information input unit； (160) Voice output unit； (200) Position information transmitting unit본 발명은 촉 지각 진동 역치를 이용한 이동정보 제공장치에 관한 것으로； 위치정보송신부로부터 실제 위치정보를 수신하는 위치정보수신부, 상기 위치정보수신부를 통해 수신되는 실제 위치정보에 따른 이동정보를 추출하는 제어부, 상기 제어부에서 추출된 이동정보에 따른 진동을 출력하는 다수의 진동모듈이 일정간격으로 배치되는 진동발생부 및 전원을 공급하는 전원부로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 현재의 이동정보를 인지할 수 있도록 하기 위해 진동을 출력하여 시각장애인이 인지하게 함으로써 시각장애인의 자율이동을 지원할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 특히 본 발명은 평면적인 2차원 이외에도 3차원 공간에서의 방향 이동정보를 실시간으로 정형화된 촉 지각 진동 느낌으로 전달함으로써 고층건물이나 지하철 역사 등의 더욱 복잡한 환경에서도 시각장애인의 이동을 도울 수 있는 장점이 있다.
