The present disclosure relates generally to methods and compositions fortreating symptoms of Parkinsons diseaseand/or other movement disorders. More particularly, the present disclosuredescribes a method for treating symptoms of Parkinsonsdisease and related disorders by administering a composition comprising one ormore of the following active agents estradiol, estriol,testosterone, and 19-nortestosterone. In addition, the compositions of thepresent invention can be used for enhancing or optimizingthe effectiveness of neural stimulation in treating the symptoms of movementdisorders such as Parkinsons disease.
