PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device capable of increasing folate content of plants to be cultivated and reducing a cultivation cost.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device that cultivates plants by using liquid culture medium comprises: a culture vessel housing liquid culture medium having yeast extract concentration of 0.05 wt% or more and 10 wt% or less and a sterilizer which sterilizes the culture medium. Since the yeast extract concentration of the liquid culture medium is 0.05 wt% or more and 10 wt% or less, plants are allowed to sufficiently absorb various nutrient components including folate contained in the yeast extract from roots without inhibiting the growth of plants.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】栽培する植物の葉酸含有量を高めると共に、栽培コストの低減化を図ることのできる植物栽培装置の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】液体培地を用いて植物を栽培する植物栽培装置であって、酵母エキス濃度が0.05wt%以上10wt%以下の液体培地を収容した培養容器と、前記培地を殺菌処理する殺菌装置とを備える植物栽培装置を採用する。液体培地の酵母エキス濃度が0.05wt%以上10wt%以下であることで、植物の生育を阻害することなく、酵母エキスに含まれる葉酸をはじめとする様々な栄養成分を十分に根から吸収させることができる。【選択図】図1
