PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm an identity of a person whose identity is unknown quickly with high accuracy regardless of skill and experience of a doctor.SOLUTION: An identity confirmation support system 1 acquires and stores object data of a person whose identity is unknown (S701), then reads data about when the person was alive (S702), and collates right side contour data of the object data and right side contour data of the data about when the person was alive (S703). When a lower jaw centrifugal line on a right side does not match (NO of S704), left side contour data of the object data and the left side contour data of the data about when the person was alive are collated (S705). When a lower jaw centrifugal line on a left side does not match (NO of S706), and there is the data about when the person was alive which has not been collated (YES of S707), next data about when the person was alive is read after returning to S702.
