An energy-saving hot water generation device comprises a sealed water storage tank, a heat source generation unit disposed inside the water storage tank, and a transmission unit connected to the heat source generation unit. The water storage tank is provided to accommodate water with a normal level, and a water inlet and a water outlet are respectively provided at two ends of the water storage tank. The heat source generation unit is provided with a rotation shaft driven by the transmission unit, and a plurality of friction members passing through the rotation shaft.
