An end-portion structure of a flexible tube is provided with: a flexible tube body 21 that has a first plastic tube 21a to function as the outer layer, a second plastic tube 21c to function as an internal layer, and a metallic mesh tube 21b that is interposed between the first plastic tube 21a and the second plastic tube 21c a sleeve 23 about which the distal end of the flexible tube body 21 is externally fitted and secured so that at least the metallic mesh tube 21b is superposed thereon and an insulation member 22 provided on the outer periphery of the distal end of the flexible tube body 21 so that at least the metallic mesh tube 21b is superposed thereon.
